A Single European Entity.
December 2012 saw the creation of a Single European Entity for a leading international insurance organization, a single European insurer covering the EEA and Switzerland with a single holding company based in the UK and reintroduced its original brand name.
Project Achievements:
Worked on tasks related to the Finance Transformation project subsequent to the merger multiple European legal entities into a new single Europe legal entity. This simplified and aligned structure made the business more transparent and easier to understand both externally and internally.
Supported the completion of accurate and timely financial reporting that is in compliance with internal and external accounting policies under US GAAP, IFRS, SEC reporting and local country regulatory requirements. Supported Country Finance Managers on project activities and worked with the Accounting Centre (AC) Management assignments to prepare the Monthly/Quarterly reporting and Process Implementation team to transition activities to the Accounting Centre without impacting BAU deliverables.
Supported CFO on various project initiatives on Finance Change Management and Process Implementation to transition activities from Belgium & Luxembourg to the France SSC.
